The Palme d'Or “Titanium” will represent France at the 2022 Oscars

, the controversial film by Cédric Jimenez with two million spectators. Which would represent France in the Oscar race for best foreign film? In the end,

was chosen by a commission made up of Julie Delpy, Florent Zeller, Iris Knobloch, Alain Goldman, Emilie Georges, Grégory Chambet, Thierry Frémaux, Serge Toubiana and Elisabeth Tanner. “The choice of plume”, one might say.

, a particularly exceptional film, can wear the colors of France in the competition for the Oscar for international feature film" rejoiced Dominique Boutonnat, President of the National Center for Cinema and Image lively.

Note that the film is not yet guaranteed to be in the short-list of Oscar contenders for best foreign film.
