3 people were killed in the fall of a pedestrian bridge in Egypt

Three people were killed, and a fourth was injured, when part of a pedestrian bridge collapsed in the Al-Zahraa neighborhood in the city of Al-Tur in the Egyptian governorate of South Sinai, as a result of a truck carrying a dredger colliding with the bridge's body, which fell on the car.

The Egyptian newspaper, Al-Watan, said that Major General Sherif Raouf, director of South Sinai security, received a report from the Tor Sinai Police Department, stating that part of the pedestrian bridge in Al-Zahraa neighborhood had fallen on a transport vehicle, as a result of the car colliding with the bridge’s body, and it was found that the car belonged to the mechanical campaign in the General Diwan. The governorate, which was carrying a dredger, collided with the bridge's body, which fell over the cabin of the car, killing three and injuring a fourth.
