He has never stood up due to congenital muscular dystrophy. Now he is only 18 kilograms at the age of 18. However, with tenacity and perseverance, he was admitted to the experimental class of Beihang University with a score of 645 in the college entrance examination this year.
On October 11, at the "I'm Coming to Beijing University" 2021 Disabled University Freshmen Invitation and Listening Symposium hosted by the China Disabled Persons' Federation, Xing Yifan said that his dream was to see the beautiful mountains and rivers of the motherland.
The dream now is to master more knowledge to stand up, help people with limited mobility live a normal life, and use what they have learned to contribute to China's aerospace industry.
Xing Yifan said that although his body is limited, he has always lived in the embrace of love, being grateful to his parents, teachers, school, society, and a strong motherland.
In the future, I will strive to grow my talents, apply what I have learned, give back to the society, and realize my life value.
