On October 11, in Jiexiu City, Shanxi Province, the flood flooded Nanqiaotou Village, causing serious accumulation of water in the village. Rescuers used large equipment to dig a spillway beside the embankment outside the village to speed up the flood discharge.
A few days ago, affected by continuous rainfall, the water level rose after the flood peak of the Jiexiu section of the Fenhe River passed, and the embankment and some residential houses and grain fields along the river were flooded. The local government organized relevant departments to fight floods on site.
