How to share your thesis in 180 seconds?

Different perspectives from the continent, Madagascar and Haiti of the winners of this international competition for young French-speaking scientists.

Let us give the floor to young and brilliant researchers from the Francophonie: Aminata, Yohan, Olivia, Judi, Fanilou, Bhujun and Valendy took part in the international final of “My thesis in 180 seconds” after winning the final in their respective countries (Senegal, Switzerland, Côte d'Ivoire, Mali, Madagascar, Mauritius and Haiti). A challenge that is also a boon, especially for students from the South, who can thus be supported, coached and even networked. The opportunity to be in the spotlight to share his science, but also all the difficulties and obstacles that stand in the way of these young researchers from the South as talented as they are motivated.

My thesis in 180 seconds

 ”, (which took place on September 30).

“My thesis in 180 seconds” allows doctoral students to present their research topic, in French and in simple terms, to a lay and diverse audience.

With

Wend-Lamita Judicaël Ouedraogo

(Mali) who works on the surveillance of emerging strains resistant to antibiotics;

Bhujun Bhamini Sreekeessoon

 (Mauritius) who studies marine energies; 

Fanilo Ny Aina Ramanitrinizaka 

(Madagascar) who works on varietal evolution on rice lines and their challenges in terms of nutrition;

Olivia Dominique Zoh

 (Ivory Coast) who is interested in the fight against the dry notch, a problem for the rubber tree.

(Haiti) who works on anti-bacteria possibly existing within the plant pharmacopoeia and 

Yohann Thenaisie

, the Swiss winner of "TM in 180 seconds", who works on Parkinson's.
