On October 10th, 80 rescue members of the Shanxi Blue Sky Rescue Team went to Dongzhangzhuang Village, Xiaoyi City for flood relief support.
The floods caused roads to be interrupted, vehicles were unable to pass, and machinery was unable to enter operations. Rescue team members had to travel on foot, traveling more than 10 kilometers from the station to the rescue site.
At the rescue site, they manually moved sand and cement and other flood-resistant materials, laid rescue channels, blocked breaches, and continued rescue operations for more than ten hours.
It is reported that the current flood in the village has receded, the surrounding fields and crops have been submerged, and rescue team members are doing road dredging work.
