For the first time in 20 years, child labor is on the rise around the world.
160 million children including 63 million girls between 5 and 17 years old are victims.
This number could grow further under the effect of the pandemic and the economic upheavals that the health crisis has engendered.

Because they are subjected to the most violent, dangerous and invisible forms of work, girls are particularly affected by this scourge.
They are in fact the first victims of trafficking, sexual exploitation or even domestic slavery.
Many have had to abandon the path to school or reconcile their schooling with their work.
