  According to the Meteorological Bureau, as of 3 pm on the 10th, the Macao Peninsula had recorded a daily rainfall of 311 mm, breaking the record for the highest daily rainfall since 1952 in October; Taipa and Coloane weather stations also recorded more than 280 mm of daily rainfall. .

  Continuous heavy rains caused many "flooded streets" in Macau's streets. Among them, there were severe flooding in Xiahuan Street, Riverside New Street, and Bili Lamarge Street, and motorcycles swayed in heavy rain. , Many private cars slowed down with "double flashing lights", wherever the vehicles drove, waves of waves were rolled up.

  The Pioneer Temple in Liansheng Lane was even more flooded to half of the gate. The person in charge of the temple, Ms. Kwong, said that after the heavy rain on October 9, the water in the temple was already too deep. Water, helpless torrential rains one after another, severely flooded.

After receiving the report, the Cultural Affairs Bureau dispatched emergency support by building sandbags to block water, clearing channels to speed up drainage, etc., and assisting in relocating important items in the temple to a safe location.

  Affected by the heavy rain, the entry and exit lanes of the Zhuhai-Macao Hengqin Port were severely flooded. After the coordination of the two sides, the entry and exit lanes were temporarily closed at 12 noon, and normal operation was not resumed until 5 pm.

  Continuous heavy rain washed the mountains, causing many landslide accidents.

The fire department said that the accident mainly occurred in the Cotai area. Among them, the landslide accident at the Coloane Golden Statue Farm bus station resulted in sand and rocks falling to the side of the road; the Taipa Sulian roundabout had a rock collapsing on the sidewalk; Taipa Lu Lian Ruo Ma Road has walls collapsed and so on.

  After the storm, government departments such as the Urban Services Department and the Works Bureau immediately dispatched staff to clean up the road to rush through the main lanes to reduce the impact on traffic.

As of press time, some road sections have been completed, and the clean-up work is still ongoing.

In addition, some walking trails in Coloane and Taipa are also experiencing landslips. To protect public safety, a total of 14 walking trails in Cotai must be temporarily closed until further notice.
