George Clooney is looking for a beautiful quiet life after turning 60

Famous American actor George Clooney said that he does not think about working in politics because he prefers to have a beautiful life.

According to the British PA Media Agency, Clooney spoke about US President Joe Biden and his predecessor, Donald Trump, and his remaining career ambitions during an interview on the BBC's Andrew Marr programme.

However, he ruled out the possibility of entering the political fray itself.

When asked what he would do in politics, Clooney, 60, said: "No, because I would really like to have a nice life."

He added: "I turned 60 this year, and I had a conversation with my wife, we work a lot, as do both of us, and I said we should think about these years to be happy, calm and very successful."

He continued, "If our health is good, which we enjoy, and I am sixty years old, I can still play basketball and do a lot of the things that I love."

He continued: "But in twenty years, I will be 80, and this is a realistic number. It doesn't matter how much you do, what you eat, you are 80, so I said we must ensure that we enjoy and live these years in the best possible way."

Clooney said there are "a lot of things that need to be fixed" in the United States after Trump's presidency.
