This week, the Russian journalist Dmitry Muratov decided to dedicate his Nobel Peace Prize to the newspaper of which he is the editor-in-chief,

Novaya Gazeta

, and to his collaborators assassinated for their work and their investigations.

This week also, it was also 15 years, that the journalist of this same newspaper, Anna Politkovskaya was shot in her stairwell because of her reports in Chechnya.

Since then, this independent power outlet has continued to publish surveys on sensitive subjects, from the actions of Russian paramilitary groups to the persecution of sexual minorities in Russia.

Today, Elena Milachina, journalist for the editorial staff of
