The seven-day incidence in Germany has again increased slightly compared to the previous day.

The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) gave the value of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants and week on Sunday morning as 66.1.

The previous day the value was 64.4, a week ago it was also 64.2.

The health authorities reported 7612 new corona infections to the RKI within one day.

A week ago the value was 6164 infections.

This corresponds to an increase of 23 percent.

According to the new information, 24 deaths were recorded across Germany within 24 hours.

A week ago there were nine deaths.

The RKI has counted 4,310,273 detected infections with Sars-CoV-2 since the beginning of the pandemic.

The actual total number is likely to be significantly higher, as many infections are not detected.

The RKI stated the number of those who had recovered at around 4,087,700.

The number of people who died with or with a proven infection with Sars-CoV-2 rose to 94,202.
