This year, the spring cleaning was canceled due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection, and about 1,600 locals participated in the autumn cleaning on the 10th.



Participants picked up fishing gear and plastic containers that had drifted along the sea and put them in a garbage bag, crossed a hill called "back of a horse", which was about 50 meters high, and brought them back to the garbage collection site. Was there.



According to Tottori City, more than 1 million tourists visit the Tottori Sand Dunes every year, but due to the influence of the new corona, the number of tourists has remained at about 400,000 by last month, and the surrounding souvenir shops are closed. There are effects such as being driven.



A man from a Tottori City office worker who participated in the cleaning for the first time said, "I would like many people to visit the sand dunes that were cleaned by the simultaneous cleaning today."
