Alain Chabat has dubbed the ogre Shrek on all films.
He reconsidered his memories about it.
He is now preparing an animated series inspired by Asterix for Netflix.
When Alain Chabat lent his voice to Shrek, he had no idea that he was going to take it for twenty years!

“It allowed me to meet Mike Myers, the American voice of Shrek and Eddie Murphy, and that was magic,” he recalls.

“Being here gave me a sudden urge to see the second part, which I love,” he says.
Animation is still as important for Alain Chabat as we recently saw the Duke of Aquitaine for Kaamelott, first part.
“The animation gave me the first emotions of spectators, he admits.
The Disney have had a great importance in my cinephilia and cartoons too.
I'm going to embark on an animated adventure with a series inspired by Asterix that I am directing for Netflix.
