A donor paid 21,000 dirhams the cost of treating (Abu Muhammad - 33 years old) for a year from leukemia, as his health card does not cover the cost of his treatment, and his financial situation does not allow him to manage the required amount.

He coordinated the "hotline" between the donor and the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai, to transfer the amount to the patient's account in the hospital where he is receiving treatment.

(Abu Muhammad) expressed his heartfelt thanks to the donor, for his generous stance with his suffering, in light of the difficult financial conditions he is going through, noting that this donation is not strange for the state’s members in their solidarity with humanitarian cases, and extending a helping hand and assistance to every needy.

On the fifth of this month, "Emirates Today" published the story of Abu Muhammad's suffering with leukemia.

The medical reports, of which Emirates Today obtained a copy, confirmed that “the patient had leukemia some time ago, and underwent treatment for a year and a half, but the results of the examinations showed that he needed special and intensive chemical drugs as soon as possible, at a cost of 21 A thousand dirhams, for a year, and in the event of delay in taking treatment, his life will be at risk.

The patient (Abu Muhammad) told "Emirates Today" the story of his suffering with the disease, saying: "A year and a half ago, I felt very tired with a headache, a high temperature, and the inability to go to work, so I asked my wife to take me to the clinic near our house. ».

He added, "We arrived at a private clinic, tests were conducted and I was placed under medical observation, and some antibiotics and painkillers were given to me, and my health condition improved a little."

He continued, "After a month, my symptoms returned, so my wife called for an ambulance, and I was transferred to the emergency department of a hospital, where the results of the tests showed a defect in white blood cells, and a suspected case of leukemia."

He indicated that he was committed to treatment, and endured all the pain and suffering with the disease, and his body needs intensive treatment for a year, to get rid of cancer.

He explained that he is the sole breadwinner for his family, and he has a family of two, and he works in a private entity in Dubai with a salary of 4000 dirhams, pays for rent of 1500 dirhams, and bears the expenses of their daily lives, and his salary hardly meets the requirements of their daily lives.
