The virus infected her and she died.. “Corona” ends the life of a girl who was helping the injured

A 10-year-old girl has died of coronavirus, and her family said she was caring for sick colleagues at her school in the United States.

The grieving parents of the late Theresa Sperry said she was in good health before she contracted the virus last month, and Nicole and Jeff Sperry said their daughter began feeling unwell on September 22 and had to take her to hospital after suffering from a severe cough, according to the Mirror.

The parents added that Teresa stated that she was responsible for escorting any unwell students out of the classroom at Hillpoint Elementary School in Suffolk, Virginia, in the United States.

Teresa underwent a Covid virus test before returning home, but her condition worsened and she was taken to the Children's Hospital of Virginia, where she unfortunately passed away.

Mother Nicole said Teresa was healthy and would have survived if people had stopped sending their sick children to school, adding: "We did everything we could do and now we've lost a part of our hearts."
