[Explanation] Fuxian Lake Anti-wave Fish, once listed as an endangered species, can now reproduce naturally in a simulated wild breeding environment.

Recently, the reporter walked into the "Yunyu Valley" breeding base in Yiliang County, Kunming City, Yunnan Province, to explore the protection of anti-wave fish from endangered species to mass reproduction.

[Explanation] Anti-wave fish used to be a rare indigenous fish unique to Fuxian Lake. In the 1980s, due to overfishing and the massive reproduction of whitebait, the number of anti-wave fish dropped sharply and was close to endangered.

[Explanation] Yin Shumao was born in Goujie Town, Yiliang County, and his hometown is only a mountain away from Fuxian Lake. He grew up eating Kanglang fish and was heartbroken when he saw this situation. In 1995, Yin Shumao returned to his hometown and started doing business. The work of protecting the source of anti-wave fish started by collecting fry from the fishermen of Fuxian Lake. After wild breeding, artificial domestication and breeding, and artificially assisted breeding, it has been developed to now realize natural reproduction of anti-wave fish, which lasted 26 years.

At present, more than 120 million high-quality anti-wave fish seedlings can be incubated annually.

For the anti-wave fish of Fuxian Lake, our seedling production accounted for more than 90% of the total production in Yunnan. Because the state has spent a lot of energy in protecting the source of the anti-wave fish in Fuxian Lake, we are engaged in The protection of anti-wave fish has been for 26 years, and has been protecting this fish for 26 years.

[Explanation] In the past 26 years, Yin Shumao has carried out a number of studies, and finally explored the anti-wave fish simulation wild breeding model, according to the fish’s living habits and genetic diversity for natural reproduction, to ensure the purity of the source of the fish, and make the fish The survival rate of fish is about 90%, and the incidence of abnormal fish is zero.

[Explanation] It is Yin Shumao's goal to let the Kanglang fish return to Fuxian Lake. His son Yin Qifeng has been fascinated since childhood, and finally took over the baton from his father.

Yin Qifeng combined the anti-wave fish breeding technology learned from his father, consulted a large amount of data, consulted relevant experts, collected a large number of Yunnan indigenous fish species data, and proposed a hybrid three-dimensional breeding model based on the characteristics of small individuals and flexible actions of anti-wave fish. And succeeded.

My father liked the fish farming industry. We grew up with him on the side of the fish pond, including breeding these fish later. We come to participate in the breeding season every year. We have been doing this job, hoping to let the fish from Yunnan swim back. The lakes in Yunnan have truly returned to their hometown and fulfilled the responsibility of raising fish and purifying water.

[Explanation] With the success of the indigenous fish polyculture model, the base is currently committed to the protection, research and sustainable use of nearly 140 Yunnan indigenous fish such as Yunnan barb, Dianchi high-back crucian carp, and Kunming schizome.
