Kanye West wants to prepare the new generation of "leaders" and to get there, he is about to open his Donda Academy.

The rapper has not officially revealed anything about the school, presented as a preparation, but according to Yahoo!

Entertainment, the school, located in California, and co-funded by Adidas (which collaborates with Kanye West for his fashion line), has already recruited basketball players highly prized by major American universities.

“Through an ethic of integrity and care, the Donda Academy prepares students to become the next generation of leaders, thinkers and innovators by providing them with a world-class education comprising a rigorous core curriculum and emphasizing sustainability, creativity, critical thinking and problem solving, ”can be read on the official Donda Academy website.

The competition is tough

For the moment, everything is very vague, even if the media claim that Kanye West himself is very involved.

And if academic excellence seems to be at the heart of the star's concerns with his school, it is above all for their sporting skills that he recruited the first students, if the site is to be believed.

The artist has also given of his person, since he contacted directly some of the players he wanted to bring to his establishment, such as Jalen Hooks or Robert Dillingham, two recruits disputed by American universities.

Kanye West would like to compete with the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers, the American high school of Bronny James, son of LeBron James, and Amari Bailey, one of the best American players in his age group.

After music and fashion, Kanye West launches into sports and he obviously does not do things by halves: always according to Yahoo !, a match would be scheduled between the Donda Academy and Sierra Canyon, at the Staples Center.

Just that…
