The first landing of the specialty spiny lobster was held in Minamiizu Town, Shizuoka Prefecture.

The Ise shrimp fishing in Minamiizu Town, which is lifted on September 16 every year, has been unable to go fishing due to typhoons and other factors, but at the Irozaki fishing port, a net was set up on the morning of the 5th. The fishing boats that pulled up the day before came back one after another.

At the harbor, fishermen were busy removing the netted spiny lobsters.

Most of the shrimp were small shrimp weighing around 150 grams, but some shrimp weighed more than 400 grams.

The total catch on the 5th was about 90 kg, which is less than usual, and according to the people concerned, it seems that the fact that there are not a few seaweeds in the fishing grounds has an effect.

Spiny lobsters are sold at direct sales offices in the town for about 6,500 yen per kilogram, and are also offered at inns and restaurants.

Spiny lobster fishing in Minamiizu Town will continue until mid-May next year.
