Some people may be bothered by dark circles, bags or fine lines that age or darken the eyes.

In the program "Bienfait pour vous" on Europe 1, Dr. Oren Marco, aesthetic doctor, returned to these phenomena and gave some tips to fight against or preserve his beautiful gaze.

"You have beautiful eyes, you know," said Jean Gabin to Michèle Morgan in

Le Quai des Brumes

by Marcel Carné in 1938, at a time when we were probably less concerned about whether or not to inject. hyaluronic acid in the face, simply because it was not possible.

A few years later, technology evolved, so did the canons of beauty, and dark circles, puffiness and fine lines became enemies to be fought.

In the program

Bienfait pour vous

on Europe 1, Dr. Oren Marco, aesthetic doctor, outlined some methods to find a beautiful look.

Drink a lot to avoid dark circles

First, identify it.

"It is the coloring below the eyes", explains the specialist.

"This dark coloration is due to a rich vascularization and to the fact that the skin is very thin. So we see by transparency and if the circulation is bad, the blood is not very oxygenated and we see the coloration."

To reduce dark circles, "everyone does their own thing", recognizes the practitioner, especially with makeup.

But there are a few immutable rules: "It can be made worse by fatigue, smoking, and poor hydration around the eye."

While a good concealer can help, be sure to stay hydrated.

The scalpel against the valley of tears and pockets

Right next to the ring, there is a small hollow with a rather poetic name: the valley of tears. And there, cosmetic surgery can intervene. "It can be treated by injecting hyaluronic acid," says Dr. Oren Marco. "It should be done by a regular practitioner" to avoid unpleasant side effects.

Some do not have dark circles but bags under the eyes.

"These are small balls of fat that make you look tired", explains the aesthetic doctor.

In reality, everyone "has little balls of fat that are useless and we all have a membrane that holds them back".

This is only seen when this membrane weakens, especially with time and age.

"They can be operated on and removed," says Dr Oren Marco.

"It affects men a lot more than women."

Beware of an intervention against wrinkles

Visual fatigue is also a factor.

"If we look at the computer a lot, we contract the muscle just under the eyelashes a lot and this muscle will thicken", reveals the specialist.

Beware, therefore, not to confuse pockets of fat and hypertrophy of this muscle.

Finally, for wrinkles, intervention is rarely desirable, recognizes the practitioner.

"It is difficult to remove them in this region because we take the risk of changing our gaze."

We can bet that Jean Gabin would have found that a shame on Michèle Morgan.
