The tension rises a notch in Marseille and throughout its metropolis.
In a press release, the Force Ouvrière union, the majority in Marseille, announced that it was dissatisfied with the “first round of negotiations” that took place this Monday morning with the metropolis on the working time of garbage collectors and roadmenders in the sector, originally of a strike movement of the garbage cans for several days.
"Faced with the obstinate refusal of the administration, from this evening, it is therefore all the districts of Marseille and all the territories of the metropolis which will be on strike at the call of the majority union", affirms FO.
