On September 27, the "High Mountain View Tour-Exhibition of Cultural Relics Donated by the Shanghai Museum" opened at the Shanghai Museum.

As of the end of 2020, the Shanghai Museum has more than 140,000 precious cultural relics, of which more than 33,000 are donated by people from all walks of life, accounting for approximately 23.6% of the total collection of precious cultural relics.

The 145 pieces/groups of cultural relics exhibited this time cover various categories such as bronze, ceramics, calligraphy and painting, bamboo carvings, coins, sculptures, and seals.

The museum said that when cultural relics enter the public eye from the private collection space, they are sublimated from the function of enjoyment and have the meaning of refining memory, condensing character, and inheriting civilization.
