The fifth season of the hit Netflix series, "The Crown", will premiere in November 2022, the new performer of Queen Elizabeth in the series has announced. This new season will take place between 1990 and 1997, from the rise to power of John Major to Diana's fatal car crash in 1997.

Triumph at the Emmy Awards

This new season will take place between 1990 and 1997, from the rise to power of John Major to the fatal car crash of Diana.

She will also address the tensions that shook the house of Windsor, with among others the divorces of Charles and Diana but also that of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.

As for the cast, actor Jonny Lee Miller will play John Major, then Prime Minister, Jonathan Pryce will play Prince Philip, Elizabeth Debicki will play Diana and Dominic West, Prince Charles.
