Nagasaki Prefecture and others have announced that a total of eight people in the prefecture have been newly confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
The total number of people confirmed to be infected in Nagasaki Prefecture is 5,965, excluding the crew of the cruise ship moored at Nagasaki Port.
