Due to the still prevailing restrictions, the exhibition halls echoed more empty than during a regular book fair.

A total of 6,709 visitors were physically at the Swedish Fair in Gothenburg during the four fair days.

This year's book fair had a hybrid approach to be able to be followed both on site and remotely.

Unlike last year, they paid for digital access.

The organizers are already looking forward to next year, when they expect to be able to invite as usual.
