At the UN General Assembly, Malian Prime Minister Choguel Maïga accuses France of having abandoned his country in "full flight" by deciding to withdraw the Barkhane force.

Without quoting the Russian paramilitary group Wagner, Choguel Maïga explained that this new situation "leads us to explore ways and means to better ensure security with other partners so as to fill the void".

What could be the consequences of a possible cooperation with Wagner?
