• Koh-Lanta is

celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

On this occasion, every Monday, for six weeks,

    20 Minutes

publishes the testimonies of former candidates.

  • This week, the sixth and last testimony of the series is that of Vincent,

    Koh-Lanta

    candidates

    , the secret weapons

and darling of the public this year.

  • “The show allowed me to get closer to my parents.

The fact of not having taken back their farm and revealing my homosexuality to them had marked a break with them, ”he told

    20 Minutes

    .

His career in

Koh-Lanta, the secret weapons

, broadcast at the beginning of the year on TF1, stopped well before the orientation test, but that did not prevent Vincent from being one of the candidates emblematic of the season.

He marked the show with his English-speaking exclamations (“I don't want this!”) And his playful and assertive temperament, resistant to pressure blows.

It is with this darling of the public that we close this series of testimonials from former candidates.

What has “Koh-Lanta” changed for you?

The show allowed me to get closer to my parents.

The fact of not having taken over their farm [they are farmers] and of revealing my homosexuality to them had marked a break with them.

With

Koh-Lanta

, I also gained self-confidence, learned to be patient - I think I still have efforts to make (laughs), and to take a step back by bringing myself back to the true values of life.

What is the question that people who recognize you in the street ask you most often on "Koh-Lanta"?

But do you really have nothing on the island?

Denis, is he really nice?

These are the questions to which I am always entitled.

So, is Denis Brogniart really nice?

(He bursts out laughing) Denis Brogniart is impartial.

We would like him to help us a little.

But in any case, yes, he is very nice to us, everything is going very well.

He is our arbiter.

What is your strongest memory?

What particularly marked me was the way I played with others.

I think back to when I was in partnership with Laëtitia with linked destinies and that we had an immunity collar… I loved acting, it made me laugh too much!

It was so funny, really, not everything was shown but I was crying to laugh.

Have you kept in touch with the candidates for your season?

I haven't kept in touch with all of them.

With Thomas and Myriam, I have no contact.

With Shanice, a few.

I am very close to Flavio.

Not a day goes by that we don't call each other.

I am also very close to Laëtitia and I have kept in touch with Maxine.

Are you going to follow "Koh-Lanta, the legend" [The interview was carried out at the beginning of July]?

Sure !

Me, I'm ko

-Lanta

fanatic, I love

Koh-Lanta

, I live for

Koh-Lanta

 !

It is obvious that I would follow the “all stars” season.
