The Xiamen police immediately launched an investigation and summoned Zhang Mouliang (male, 39 years old, from Hanchuan City, Hubei Province), who was suspected of publishing the false information, to the Datong Police Station for investigation.

  After investigation, on the morning of the 26th, Zhang Mouliang heard a child crying in the neighbor next door, so he fabricated "A child in our community starved to death" "Girl, 3-4 years old, just carried away", "All the police came here, everyone Information such as "Do not open doors and windows to see" was posted to the WeChat group of more than 400 people, causing the spread of false information and causing adverse social impact.

  Zhang Mouliang disturbed public order because of fictitious facts. According to Article 25 of the "Public Security Administration Punishment Law of the People's Republic of China", the Tongan Public Security Bureau imposed administrative detention for seven days and fined him 500 yuan in accordance with the law.
