A videotape widely circulated on social media showed Lindy's funeral when his body was taken out of the hospital in Isfahan, during which a salute from the honor guard and military choir music, before being transferred to a place for burial.

Today, state television broadcast live a funeral ceremony in his hometown, with the participation of hundreds of residents.
