Since 2016, the city has successively held the first tourism development conference in Hebei Province and the three municipal tourism development conferences, successfully creating the "Jingxi Baidu Leisure Resort", "Jingnan Town Featured Tourist Experience Zone", and "Baoding International Pastoral" Four distinctive regional brands: "Leisure Zone" and "North Taihang Cultural Ecological Leisure Experience Zone".

According to Yan Jihong, at this year's Tourism Development Conference, the city concentrated on building the Anguo Yaowang Temple Cultural Scenic Spot, Wangdu Yaomu Cultural Park, Boye Wanmu Ancient Pear Garden, Lixian Yuexiao River Landscape Corridor, and Gaoyang Jinjin Ledao Industrial Education Center. The 12 key observation projects including the city center integrate the rural quality of life, traditional Chinese medicine health and wellness vacation, industrial cultural experience, and special shopping consumption, and comprehensively build a characteristic tourism brand of "Chinese medicine culture and health experience zone".
During the period, "Baoding Youwei", "Baoding Youxi", "Baoding Youshu", "Baoding Youpin", "Baoding Youzhi" and "Baoding Youli" theme series will also be held to create an exclusive online celebrity check-in place for the conference.
Guo Yong, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Hebei Province, said that at present, Hebei is concentrating its efforts and continuing to do its best to grasp the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, the planning and construction of Xiongan New Area, and the preparation of the Beijing Winter Olympics.
