While trot singer Young-tak (39) is having a trademark dispute with Yecheon Brewery, a makgeolli company, Yecheon Brewery revealed that it has been constantly receiving unreasonable demands from Young-tak's mother for renewing her exclusive model contract.

In the MBC 'True Story Expedition' broadcast on the 25th, Yecheon Brewery's side said, "About fifteen days after the product's launch, Young Tak's parents suddenly started visiting the factory, and after that, he held a ritual at the well and asked for two dealerships for free for retirement, or Young Tak's father. They demanded things that were difficult to bear, such as demanding the establishment of a 'Young-tak Public Relations Hall' in their hometown."

In particular, on this day's broadcast, Yecheon Brewery's side revealed the mother's handwritten memo and the original contract related to the controversial 15 billion won. In this document, '15% of the factory price of all products manufactured and sold by Yecheon Brewery other than the Youngtak brand', '10% stake in Yecheon Brewery', and 'contract period of 3 years' were written.

In the process of not renewing the makgeolli model contract with Young-tak, Yecheon Brewery requested an amount of 5 billion won for one year and 15 billion won for three years, including separate model fee, trademark-related cash and company equity, and agreed to adjust the amount by the deadline. claimed to have refused. An official from Yecheon Brewery said, "If we were a large company, we would have been able to continue making such unreasonable demands."

Young-tak's side did not make a separate statement on this.

Young-tak's mother, who is at the center of the controversy, refused an interview request from the production team of 'True Story Expedition'.

Young-tak's legal representative also reiterated his position that "everything will be done legally and we will not respond to Yecheon Brewery's claims."

Earlier, Young-tak's side countered that Yecheon Brewery had brought her mother into negotiations to advance the trademark dispute in an advantageous manner and threatened blackmail.

After posting a photo of him covering the sun with his palm on his social media account in August, Yeong-tak indirectly revealed his position on the conflict with Yecheon brewing by saying, "You can't cover the sky with your palm."
