From 8:00 on September 24 to 9:00 on the 25th, Nanzhao County, Nanyang City, Henan Province encountered heavy rainfall, with a maximum rainfall of 425 mm.
The heavy rainfall caused flash floods, surges in rivers, and destroyed bridges. At one time, 6,482 households and 27,554 people in 11 administrative villages were interrupted and lost contact.
So far, the reporter has learned that all the missing villages have been in contact.
After preliminary investigations, one person has been killed, one injured, and two others are missing. The search and rescue is still in progress.
