The “Arabic Linguistic Center” of the Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah, in the seventh session of the program for teaching Arabic to non-native speakers, supervises 15 students from 11 foreign countries, providing an integrated educational course that extends over a period of three months, introducing students to the aesthetics of the language of Dhad and teaching them writing skills and speak out.

The center, which operates under the umbrella of the Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah, provides, during the new session of the program, 50 teaching hours distributed over 36 lectures, which were determined according to the levels of the participating students, after an assessment exam to determine the skills possessed by each affiliate until he is transferred to the higher levels of the program.

Through these courses, the Academy seeks to introduce foreign residents in the country to the Arabic language, demonstrate its aesthetics and privacy, and open up areas for the convergence of cultures and creativity. The new course of the program brings together affiliates from India, China, Uzbekistan, the United States, Britain, Poland, Spain, and Argentina , Uzbekistan, Russia, and Pakistan.

The complex also looks, through innovative educational techniques, to enhance the skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking in standard Arabic among its members, in addition to developing communication skills and focusing on the safety of pronunciation, as well as opening horizons to get acquainted closely with the culture of the United Arab Emirates, authentic Arab customs, and noble values. Which are the foundations of Arab societies.

On the new cycle of the program, Dr. Muhammad Safi Al Mosteghanemi, Secretary-General of the Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah said: “For foreigners to learn Arabic, it enhances the cultural ties that bring Arabs together with other cultures of the world. Every student will become the ambassador of our language and culture to his countrymen. The courses bring foreigners closer to the language of the Qur’an and raise their awareness of our tolerant Islamic culture, which embodies one of the most prominent messages of the Sharjah Cultural Project and its civilized discourse to the world.”

The Secretary-General of the Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah confirmed that the efforts offered by the "Arabic Language Center" are in line with the central vision from which the Academy is based in the service of the Arabic language, pointing out that this is in line with the general orientation of the Emirate of Sharjah and the vision laid down by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, towards protecting the Arabic language and supporting its education at all levels.

Regarding the organization of the new program for the course, Dr. Muhammad Safi Al-Mostaghanemi explained that the program for teaching Arabic to non-native speakers was limited to 15 students in this course, in compliance with the precautionary measures taken by the complex to prevent the Corona virus and limit its spread, and in order to ensure the continuity of the educational process of the Arabic Language Center. .
