On September 24, the reporter learned from the Daxinganling Aviation Forest Guard Bureau in Inner Mongolia that the bureau had recently used helicopters to rescue three trapped people from the original forest area in the northern part of the Daxinganling Mountains.

At 6:24 am on September 21, the Daxinganling Aviation Forestry Bureau of Inner Mongolia received a message from the Genhe Emergency Bureau asking for help: “Three people from the Hohhot Resource Survey Center of the China Geological Survey were in a lost mountain in the northern primitive forest area and could not return by themselves. The forest has been trapped for 48 hours."

After receiving the call for help, the Daxinganling Aviation Forest Guard Bureau of Inner Mongolia immediately launched a helicopter search and rescue emergency plan, and lifeguards and winches boarded the helicopter for emergency rescue.

It is understood that the three resource investigators entered the original forest area on the morning of September 19. They did not bring spare batteries when they entered the mountain. The satellite phones and navigation equipment were insufficiently charged and the supplies were exhausted. The team members had come out of blisters on their feet and were unable to move on their own. Back, in an emergency, they used the remaining battery to send out coordinates and distress messages.

At 9:16, the helicopter arrived at the search and rescue site and found 3 people who lost the mountain, but it was in a narrow river valley with dense forests and high mountains, making it very difficult for the cable to slide down.

Overcoming the difficulties of the unfavorable geographical environment, the winch rescued three times with a single set of winches. At 10:6, the three people were rescued and sent to the nearest Mangui Airport.
