The International Forum for Government Communication, in its 10th session, which will be held on September 26 and 27, under the slogan “Lessons of the Past… Aspirations for the Future”, in one of its main sessions, deals with the impact of entertainment content on creating awareness and attitudes of the public, and is presented to the guests of the session by the Syrian actor Abed Fahd , Saudi actress Aseel Omran, and director of the original “Shahid” business, Ali Ghamlush, a question: “Entertainment content.. who watches the other?”

The session evokes the role of cinema, theater and television, in shaping a general global culture, and in defining the public’s priorities in terms of the issues it adopts and defends. Significant progress has been made on issues of sustainability, environmental protection, and civil and human rights.

The session reviews the possibilities of investing in the entertainment industry by government communication departments and teams, in order to consolidate positive practices, concepts and ideas, and achieve rapprochement, compatibility and partnership between societies and governments to serve the public interest, by addressing several axes, such as: the nature of entertainment communication and its impact on societies, and the extent Public awareness of the messages directed through entertainment content, and how to invest in entertainment in order to change traditional patterns of thinking, as well as the role of artists and entertainment content makers in building the culture of societies.

The artist Abed Fahd has more than 30 years of experience in the performing arts, through his embodiment of many historical and dramatic personalities, and the artist Aseel Omran has a great credit, which is represented in a number of dramatic and lyrical works, while Ali Ghamlush’s experience includes working for about 10 years as editor-in-chief for a group of Programs with MBC Group.
