Broadcasting of the TV animation of the prefecture's mascot character "Gunma-chan" planned and produced by Gunma Prefecture will begin next month on eight broadcasting stations in the Kanto and Kansai regions.

The TV anime of Gunma-chan's mascot character "Gunma-chan" depicts the daily life of Gunma-chan, set in Hiragana's "Gunma", a world where Gunma-chan and her diverse and unique friends live happily.



The prefecture budgeted about 163 million yen for planning and production, and the director was Mitsuru Hongo, who was in charge of the first director of "Crayon Shin-chan".



In addition, popular female voice actors have been gathered for the character cast, including Karin Takahashi as Gunma-chan, Aya Uchida from Gunma Prefecture as her fellow "Aoma", and "Mimi" as well. Yui Ogura from Gunma Prefecture is participating.



The animation will be broadcast for 30 minutes each time, 13 times in total, and from the 3rd of next month to December this year, it will be broadcast in 6 prefectures in the Kanto region such as Gunma and Tokyo, and 8 broadcasting stations in total in Hyogo and Kyoto. It will be broadcast.



The Prefectural Media Promotion Division says, "It is an entertainment work that both children and adults can enjoy. We want to improve Gunma-chan's national name through the broadcasting of anime."
