The last time Eldkvarn released new music was in 2011, when the album De berömdas aveny was released.

In 2015, the band, founded by Plura Jonsson and his brother Carla in 1971, decided to take a break.

The band had planned a reunion already this year, but the pandemic made up for it.

- I have some songs I have written and I also have some songs I have received from other artists, says Plura Jonsson.

The band's first record, under the name Whip Me Hard, was released in 1974. Two years later they changed their name to Eldkvarn.

Since then, they have released over 20 records and had hits like Love's Tongue and Full for Love's.
