Cai Jianrong, deputy secretary and dean of the Party Committee of the Affiliated Hospital of Putian University, said that the current treatment of new coronary pneumonia and the prevention and control of hospital infections have strict and standardized procedures and strict implementation, and medical treatment is stable and orderly.
As of 8:00 on September 23, 2021, there are currently 226 inpatients in designated hospitals (including 21 in Quanzhou), 222 confirmed cases (including 2 critical cases, 138 common cases, and 82 mild cases), with asymptomatic infections There were 3 cases, and 1 person was not classified.

The vital signs of the two patients are currently stable. Since the two patients are both elderly patients over 80 years old, they are prone to changes in their condition, and treatment still requires close attention.
