Nowadays, among surrounding villagers, the Batou Nanfan Public Experimental Base is more popular and called "3000 Jin".
The reporter saw at "3000 Jin" that the late-grown rice was in the filling and fruiting period, and the whole field was green and the harvest was expected to usher in the end of October.
Varieties such as "Chaoyouqian" were once affectionately called "the guard of honor" by Yuan Longping because of the tall and tall rice grains.

In the field test and acceptance of early production in May this year, the average yield per mu of "3000 Jin" Tian Yang was 926.5 kg, which reached the expected target.
According to Zhu Zaishu, a technician at the "3000 Jin" experimental demonstration site, the late-growing rice varieties are "Chaoyou Qianhao" and "Jifengyou 1002". Judging from the current growth, they are confident to reach or exceed the target of 600 kg per mu.
