Willie Garson, Stanford Blatch in "Sex and the City", is dead

He lent his features to the unforgettable best friend of Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) in the cult series

Willie Garson is dead at the age of 57, his son Nathen Garson announced on Instagram on Wednesday.

“I love you so much daddy.

Rest in peace and I am so happy that we were able to share all these adventures and that we were able to accomplish so much, he wrote.

I'm so proud of you.

I will always love you, but I think it's time for you to have your own adventure.

You will always be with me.

(…) You have always been the strongest, funniest and smartest person I know ”.

The cause of death was not specified by his son.

Willie Garson beamed in his Stanford Blatch persona.
