The death of Kuwaiti composer Muhammad Al-Ruwaished, brother of the artist Abdullah Al-Ruwaished

The Kuwaiti composer Muhammad Al-Ruwaished, brother of the great singer Abdullah Al-Ruwaished, died today, after suffering from the disease that lasted 6 years, after suffering from kidney failure.

Kuwaiti composer Muhammad Al-Ruwaished, brother of the artist Abdullah Al-Ruwaished, suffered from some diseases in the last years of his life as a result of kidney failure, which he suffered about 6 years ago.


Muhammad Al-Ruwaished lived in an artistic family. He is the brother of the artists Abdullah and Adel Al-Ruwaished. He presented many tunes for great artists, including his brother, the artist Abdullah Al-Ruwaished, through two songs: his famous national song “Nah Al-Wafa” in 1986, which is from the words of Sayer Al-Sayer, and the song “ Take me with you" from the words of the poet Badr Bouresli.

The late composer belongs to what is known as the “third generation” of Kuwaiti music composers, such as the late Rashid Al-Khidr and Anwar Abdullah.

Muhammad Al-Ruwaished was one of the founders of the Women's Ensemble for Folklore with Magda Al-Dokhi, where he led the band as a musician after training its members who gave several concerts inside and outside Kuwait.
