Charlotta Friborg has been program manager for Riksnyheterna on SVT since 2017 and is the responsible publisher for Aktuellt, Rapport, Morgonstudion and svt.se.
She has previously had the role of publisher for Upsala Nya Tidning and was newspaper manager for Östgöta Correspondenten.
The jury highlights how Charlotta Friborg "openly and pedagogically explains the considerations that form the basis for her decisions as a responsible publisher".

Charlotta Friborg contributes to strengthening the importance of publishing for the Swedish press and freedom of expression, which today must be defended every day, says Kerstin Brunnberg, Momma Jury's chairman, in a press release.
The prize as publisher of the year has been awarded since 2015 and is named after Margareta Momma who in the 18th century was one of Europe's first female editors and publishers.
The Momma Prize will be awarded at the Book Fair in Gothenburg on 24 September.
