Netflix has bought The Roald Dahl Story Company and acquired the rights to the children's book author's stories.

The acquisition is one of the largest purchases in Netflix history.

Netflix has announced that it is working with animated and live action films and series.

There are also plans for games and theater plays, among other things.

The streaming platform already signed a contract with The Roald Dahl Story Company in 2018 for the rights to make 16 stories into animated series.
