Tom Ford is in mourning.

The stylist announced via his agents that Richard Buckley, her husband, has died at the age of 72.

The statement said the fashion journalist died "of natural causes after a long illness."

Tom Ford and Richard Buckley, who lived between Italy, London, Los Angeles and New York, had been in a relationship since 1986, when they met in an elevator on the sidelines of a parade.
