The Liaoning team composed of Wang Yidi, Chen Xingtong and Li Jiayi defeated the Shandong team led by Tokyo Olympic champion Chen Meng 3:1. This was the first time the team won the National Games Table Tennis Women's Championship.
This team without Olympic athletes also achieved the feat of successively defeating the three teams led by the champion members of the Tokyo Olympic Women's Team Chen Meng, Sun Yingsha, and Wang Manyu in the National Games.
