Among the 1900 girls who applied to the competition, and after competing with 30 finalists, Nadine El-Gayyar, 22, won the title of “Miss Egypt 2021,” and Habiba Othman won the title of Miss Egypt for Teenage Girls, during the competition whose results were announced yesterday, Monday in the Egyptian capital, Cairo. .

The competition stipulated that the participants should not be less than 18 years old and 165 cm tall, with tact, good appearance, attendance and vision to serve the community, according to media reports.

Officials for the competition announced that the training and qualifying period lasted for about three months.

The closing ceremony included several presentations and interview questions to measure the culture of the contestants.

It is noteworthy that the winner of the Miss Egypt 2021 title, Nadine El-Gayar, was born in the city of Mansoura, and is studying in the final year at the Faculty of Dentistry.

After being crowned, Nadine said that she did not expect to win the title, noting that she feels "a social being", educated, and somewhat beautiful.

The title was considered comprehensive, because the choice of "Queen" is according to many criteria, and not just appearance and beauty.

It is noteworthy that the competition jury included the artist Reem Al-Baroudi, the artist Firas Saeed, the media person Heba Al-Abasery, the fashion designer Bahij Hussein, former beauty queens and a number of society stars, according to the Al-Ahram website.
