Microsoft chooses an Egyptian young man as the youngest professional in artificial intelligence technology

Microsoft has approved the Egyptian student at the Faculty of Pharmacy at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts, Amr Shaarawy, as the youngest professional to be adopted by the company in artificial intelligence technology.


The 18-year-old Egyptian said: "It is very amazing to be the youngest person in the world to pass the tests for artificial intelligence at Microsoft, and to be praised by the company as the youngest professional in this field."


The youngest professional that Microsoft relies on in artificial intelligence technology told Sky News: “After I participated in the university’s campaign, I was nominated for one of the competitions alongside another team, and we presented distinguished projects and unique works, but special circumstances occurred by submitting exam dates so that a number of team members decided to withdraw and focus. In their studies, at that time we could not reach the final.”

And the young Egyptian continued: “After the final, a short period of time, a number of those interested in Microsoft contacted me and assured me that they see that I have great potentials in artificial intelligence and they want to grow them and take over my training. The youngest professional in the world in this field.


And Shaarawy added: “Anyone who has a dream of excellence must work on it, because many think that artificial intelligence is a monopoly of the College of Computer Engineering and this is a wrong idea. Everyone must strive in this field. The superpower that will move the future is the skills of artificial intelligence.”
