As the autumn holiday season begins, earthquakes are occurring one after another in the Hida region of Gifu prefecture, where the Northern Alps is located, so police and others are calling on climbers to be careful about falling rocks and to be cautious.

In Gifu Prefecture, on the evening of the 19th, an earthquake occurred in the Hida region, and we observed shaking with a seismic intensity of 4 in Takayama City and a seismic intensity of 3 in Hida City.

Earthquakes have continued in Takayama City since then.

At the "Shinhotaka Mountaineering Guidance Center", which is located at the mountain climbing entrance of the Northern Alps and is operated by the police and Takayama City, a warning paper is affixed to the window for mountain climbing notifications, so be careful of falling rocks and floating stones. We are calling for action.

People who visited the center on the morning of the 21st were checking the precautions while filling out the mountain climbing notification.

A man in his 50s said, "I came after checking the condition of the mountain trail by contacting the mountain lodge. I will change to a route with less stones."

A man in his 80s said, "Once I get to the hut, I'll listen to the conditions of the road ahead and decide whether or not to proceed. I will climb while checking if there are any stones floating."
