The actor Wilfried Dziallas is dead. The native of Hamburg became known to an audience of millions through his role as district manager Bernd Voss in the ARD evening series "Großstadtrevier".

On September 18, Dziallas died at the age of 77, as the Hamburg Ohnsorg Theater announced.

There he began his theater career, which later also led him to film and television.

Dziallas has appeared in front of the camera in many television productions, including alongside Evelyn Hamann in the popular crime series “Adelheid and Her Murderers”.

In the mid-2000s, he belonged to the television investigators of the "metropolitan area" in around 60 episodes.

In 2016 he was there again as a guest.

Although his talent for the stage was recognized during his school days, Dziallas initially completed an apprenticeship as a foreign trade clerk after high school.

However, he broke off the subsequent studies to become an economist in favor of his real passion and switched to acting.

After completing his studies, he founded a free theater production in his hometown of Hamburg and finally came to the Ohnsorg Theater in 1986, to which he - as a director and actor - remained loyal for decades.

Dziallas also made a name for himself as a speaker in radio plays.

As Dzialla's former agent Regine Schmitz said, the actor died after a brief serious illness after a corona infection.

However, he had been vaccinated twice.

This was initially reported by Bild.
