On the afternoon of September 19, Quanzhou, Fujian held the fourth press conference on epidemic prevention and control to introduce the latest situation of local epidemic prevention and control.
From 0:00 on September 18 to 12:00 on September 19, 3 newly confirmed cases were confirmed in Quanzhou. They belonged to three ancestors and grandchildren, all in Changxin Village, Longjuan Township, Anxi County.
Zhou Zhenping, the deputy mayor of the Quanzhou Municipal People’s Government, reported that the first new case in Anxi County had a history of living in Xiamen, which later caused family cluster infections.
According to the unified arrangement, all new cases have been transferred to Xiamen designated hospitals for centralized isolation and treatment by negative pressure vehicles, and their condition is stable.
As of 12:00 on September 19, Anxi County (investigation) traced a total of 205 close contacts and 79 sub-close contacts, all of which had implemented isolation control measures.
From that day onwards, Changxin Village, Anmei Village, Juxi Village, Fudu Village, and Fuli Village in Longjuan Township, Anxi County have been designated as closed areas, with the implementation of "regional closed, no-going, and door-to-door services"; except for the closed areas, The whole area of Longjuan Township is designated as a controlled area, and residents in the controlled area can only enter and leave; the areas within the jurisdiction of Anxi County, except for the closed and controlled areas, are designated as preventive areas, implementing "strengthening social control and strictly restricting the gathering of people."
