  On September 18, the area from Sanmenxia to Xiaolangdi of the Yellow River, Jindi River, and the lower mainstream of the Yellow River rained torrentially; on September 19, the Dawen River, the lower mainstream of the Yellow River, and the Jindi River basin fell heavily to torrential rains, and some stations experienced heavy rains.

According to weather forecasts, on September 20, there will still be light rain and local moderate rain on most of the Dawen River.

Affected by this, at 10 o'clock on September 20, the flow of Huanghe Huayuankou Station rose to 3,620 cubic meters per second, and the flow of Huanghe Gaocun Station in Shandong Province increased to 2,120 cubic meters per second, and continued to rise.

The water level of the old lake of Dongping Lake is 41.52 meters, the flow of Dawenkou Station of Dawen River is 1,730 cubic meters per second, and the flow of Fanxian Hydrological Station of Jindi River is 96 cubic meters per second.

The flood process is currently evolving rapidly.

  According to the Shandong Yellow River River Affairs Bureau, according to rainfall and reservoir scheduling, it is estimated that there will be 4000 cubic meters of floods per second in the mainstream of the lower reaches of the Yellow River in Shandong, and 2000 cubic meters per second will occur at Daicunba Station on the lower reaches of the Dawen River around 0:00 on the 21st. The water level of the old lake of Dongping Lake will exceed the warning water level in about seconds.

  In order to ensure the safety of the Yellow River, Dongping Lake, and Beijin Embankment in Shandong, the Yellow River Bureau of Shandong Province issued an emergency notice, requiring all units at all levels to implement the emergency response mechanism to effectively prevent floods, and fully implement the system of chief executive responsibility.
